Conversational AI can be a creative partner for designers. Designers often need a lot of inspiration during the conception stage. By communicating with conversational AI, such as inputting "I am designing a seaside resort hotel and want a unique design style. Give me some creative inspiration", AI can provide novel creative ideas from many aspects such as architectural style, spatial layout, and integration with the surrounding environment based on the study of a large number of excellent architectural cases. For example, "You can learn from the tropical Southeast Asian style, use a large number of sparse elements to integrate with the natural landscape, create a seaside leisure area, and let customers fully experience the seaside style", which will broaden the design ideas for designers.
After the preliminary design plan is formed, the designer collaborates with the conversational AI to optimize the plan. AI can perform multi-dimensional analysis on the design plan, such as energy consumption simulation analysis and space utilization rationality analysis. The designer asks "What is the energy consumption of this plan and where can it be optimized?" AI analyzes the impact of factors such as building orientation, enclosure structure, lighting and ventilation in the design plan on energy consumption based on relevant algorithms and data models, and gives specific optimization suggestions, such as "adjusting the main lighting surface of the building to face south and increasing the use of double-glazed glass can effectively reduce energy consumption", helping designers improve the quality and sustainability of design plans.
